Built to turn each journey into an adventure, the 2024 Subaru Outback blends station wagon practicality with the capability of an advanced off-road vehicle in a stylish SUV ready to go wherever inspiration calls.

2024 Subaru Outback Performance

Like every Subaru ever made, the 2024 Outback boasts the automaker’s symmetrical all-wheel drivetrain with active torque vectoring for confident handling in all driving conditions.

This system pairs with a 185-hp 2.5L 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER engine and a Lineatronic continuously variable transmission for smooth shifting and efficient performance. For enhanced driving dynamics and more fun on your adventures, the transmission boasts an 8-speed manual mode with paddle shifters.

Impressive Traction and Stability

This SUV is designed for off-road adventures and comes with the automaker’s X-MODE transfer case that optimizes transmission ratio and engine output to provide optimal traction on various types of terrains and slippery roads. Select trims boast an advanced dual-mode version of the X-MODE with specific drive modes for Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud.

Comfort and Convenience

The 2024 Outback offers ample seating for five. The base model boasts manually adjustable front seats for customized comfort and numerous cubbies, door pockets, and cupholders throughout the cabin for convenient small-item storage. A cargo area tray with four tie-down hooks and two grocery bag hooks makes it easy to keep everything organized.

All trims but the base come with a power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support adjustments and heated front seats for added all-weather comfort. Heated rear seats are optional on the Onyx Edition and standard on the upper trims.

SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia

Staying in the know or enjoying your favorite tunes is easy when you’re driving the 2024 Outback. The SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia comes standard with a 7-inch center display and intuitive access to SiriusXM, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. All trims except for the entry model boast the SUBARU STARLINK Multimedia Plus or the SUBARU STARLINK Navigation, both offered with an 11.6-inch center touchscreen and extra infotainment features.

Safety Comes Standard

With Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assistance technology offered standard on all trims, the 2024 Outback is one of the safest rides for families. Highlights include pre-collision throttle management and braking, lane departure and sway warning, lane departure prevention, and a variety of other systems to help keep you nearly worry-free on the road.
